There are a number of items I have absolutely been dying to try from The Body Shop recently, and, seen as I had an offer from O2 priority moments, it seemed rude not to use it!
First item to be dropped into my basket, was the All-in-One BB Cream in colour 01 (retailing at £9). This cream comes out white, and is designed to adapt its colour to your skin tone. I spend a lot of my spare time travelling, and I've been looking for a replacement BB cream for a while. After hearing a lot of good reviews on this product, I am dying to give it a try!
I also treated myself to the Vitamin E hydrating toner (retailing at £8.50). I must admit, I've never actually used a toner before, and, since starting a proper skin care routine, I decided it was essential to invest in one.
I am also running low on my current shower gel (the mango scent), so, I needed a replacement! I was initially going to go for the Chocomania shower cream, as, well, who wouldn't want to smell like a chocolate bar?! But, at the time, it was a hot day, and, I personally felt that the rich chocolate scent would be better appreciated in the Autumn time, when I don't mind a 'heavier' fragrance. Instead, I was drawn to the Early-Harvest Raspberry shower gel (retails at £4.00), and, oh my life, it smells amazing! Even if you do not need a shower gel, I suggest you go and smell this product!
Another product that I picked up, was the Peppermint Foot Lotion (retails at £8.00 for 250ml). Now, this isn't actually for me, this is for my partner who spends a lot of his time running about, and, I wanted to treat him to a cooling lotion. After debating over whether to get this or the cooling leg gel, I decided on this product, simply because I've personally used it in the past after periods of high intensity running, and found it to be so soothing. So, we will have to wait and see what Mike's verdict of this product is!
Finally, I decided to treat myself to a scented candle. I (eventually) chose the Aloe and Soft Linen scent (retails at £10.00), because it smells so homely and relaxing. I also love the packaging of the box it comes in!
Hope you enjoyed this quick little haul, and, if you have any recommendations for me to try out from The Body Shop, or, any other skin care items for that matter, leave a comment below!
